Clyde and Cleo are a cute pair of monsters made in the hoop of your embroidery machine. They use a scrappy applique or “scraplique” style which is perfect for upcycled clothing like sweaters, shirts, etc. They are a quick and easy project – great for beginning plushie makers. Comes in 4 sizes so any machine can make some cute monsters.

Tools and Materials Needed
Tools
• Embroidery machine with 4×4” hoop or larger
• Sharp fabric scissors
• Long doll needle and strong thread for closing the seam opening
Materials
• 2 pieces of fabric for front and back (size is same as your chosen hoop size)
• 1 piece of contrast fabric for tummy and face
• Embroidery thread to match your fabric, plus black and white for faces
• Fiberfill stuffing
• You choice of stabilizer for your fabrics
• Scrap of water or heat soluble stabilizer to use under the face detail stitches
