Make your own sitting or broom-riding kitchen witch using these in-the-hoop designs for your embroidery machine. This jointed art doll can be made with a 5×7” hoop (130 x 180mm) and works well with upcycled fabrics.
This package includes files and photo instructions to make a medium-sized art doll witch or other characters.
Two head styles are included, as well as in the hoop designs for arms, legs, corset body, and stretchy tunic dress.
She is 7″ tall when seated from the bottom of her bum to the top of her head. Dangling legs and witch hat extend her size.
You can sit her on a shelf, or make a broom for her to ride and hang her up. The photo instructions show you how to do all of that!
Your embroidery machine will stitch the face and bodice details as well as most seams. You will need to hand stitch the seam openings after turning and stuffing. Instructions for simple button joints are included in the Instructions along with a pattern for the hat and how to create your own rustic witch broom. This is considered an Intermediate level doll design due to small parts and number of steps. But a determined and patient beginner can make this too.
