ITH Design Details
- ITH stands for “In the Hoop” and refers to embroidery machine files that stitch a 3D project like this one.
- .ZIP file Includes these machine embroidery file formats: DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PES, SEW, VIP, VP3, XXX
- Number of Hoopings: 1 for each elf
- Designed for 4×4 hoops. Stitch the elf and hat all in-the-hoop, then cut out, turn and lightly stuff if desired.
NOTE: Some photos show elves with embellishments & trims which are not included in the design files. Bling them up with your own stash of craft supplies. (●’◡’●)
Tools and Materials Needed
Tools
- embroidery machine with 4×4″ hoop or larger
- Scissors
- hemostats are useful for turning & stuffing small areas but not required
Materials
- Stretchy fabrics:
- 2 pieces 2.5 x 2.5” skin tone jersey for head front & back
- 2 pieces 3” x 3” for body front and back
- 1 piece 4” x 4” for hat (will be folded to 2×4)
- no-show mesh stabilizer or other lightweight cut-away stabilizer
- embroidery thread & bobbin thread
- fiberfill stuffing (optional)
- fabric glue or hand needle and thread
- embellishments of choice
