Let’s get up close on embroidery machine needles! I’m using a macro lens on my camera to magnify different embroidery needles and compare them side-by-side.

 Is there really a difference between brands? Are embroidery needles different than metallic or universal? Does size matter? I was surprised by what these magnified views showed, and I learned a few new things when I made this video.   I’ll look at Organ, Schmetz, and Klasse brands. Compare gold or regular Schmetz, metallic needles, and various sizes from 75/11 or 90/12 up to size 18.
